Qwas Dog Manual
Rail Dog Manual
Welcome to Qwas Products
Qwas Products, home of the original Qwas Dogs, Rail Dogs, and the Qwas Square. All of these products are about making perfect 90 degree cuts for the woodworker. These precision bench dog products are designed to work on workbenches utilizing 20 mm holes, such as the Black & Decker Workmate, Walko Workbench, and the Festool MFT/3. The Rail Dogs work with any of the Plunge Saws, such as Festool TS-55 and TS-75, Makita SP6000K, and the Dewalt Track Saw. These dogs take advantage of the alignment of the table’s holes to align the cutting rails, fences, and/or workpieces.
When the Dogs are combined , the best feature is never having to test for squareness on your cuts again. This combination of both Qwas Dogs and Rail Dogs takes advantage of the tables built-in square and gives you CNC accuracy without buying the CNC machine. No need to worry of anyone knocking something out of square. With the Festool MFT table, it also makes perfect 45 degree miter cuts .
We have added the Qwas Square, a highly accurate square that attaches to any Festool guide rail for accurate cuts without the MFT. Great for cutting sheets of plywood down to size. It can also be used on the MFT as a 30/60 degree triangle for accurate 30 and 60 degree angle cuts.

Don't be fooled by competitors with stainless steel dogs offering longer life. Aluminum dogs will last many decades and will be safer on router bits and saw blades that accidently hit the dogs where as stainless steel dogs will destroy the blades, possibly the tool, and possibly cause bodily injury.
